What is MXiPr?
We are pleased to announce the release of a new compound; MXiPr hydrochloride (3-MeO-2′-oxo-PCiPr). This product adds to our rapidly expanding portfolio of arylcyclohexylamine molecules with dissociative properties. MXiPr is a very close analog of MXE and MXPr and therefore shares similar properties. Our initial experiments and immediate feedback have been promising: many researchers comment on the compound’s similarity to MXE! Little research has been conducted on the substance, but it has been reported to produce dissociative effects similar to ketamine. As an illicit recreational drug, phencyclidine (PCP) gained notoriety in the 90s and 2000s.

As mentioned above, MXiPr shares many chemical properties with other arylcyclohexylamine compounds. It acts as a non-competitive NMDA receptor antagonist, which may explain its psychoactive effects. For the brain to function normally, NMDA receptors must allow electrical signals to pass between the spinal cord and neurons. In the presence of an antagonist chemical, electrical pulses cannot die, leading to a loss of communication between the higher-level parts of the brain and the spinal cord.
